Get more from your Runlog limits
Four steps, each shown in the page where you take it.
Step 1
Add your free API keys
A free Google AI Studio key and a free OpenRouter key take a minute each to create. Add them once, on the Billing page.
Keys you add stretch your limits further. On the free tier, they are what your work runs on.
Create a key at aistudio.google.com/app/apikey. It carries requests per minute and per day.
Create a key at openrouter.ai/settings/keys. It carries requests per minute on free models.
Step 2
Read your limits at a glance
Billing shows each limit, the next five hours, the week and the month, as the share used and the time it renews. Nothing to calculate.
Usage
82% remaining · renews Oct 12, 10:04 PM
54% remaining · renews Oct 15, 5:04 PM
69% remaining · renews Oct 29, 11:04 AM
Credits keep work running after a weekly allowance is used up.
Step 3
Know what happens at a limit
Work that reaches a limit stops with a note saying what ran out and when it comes back. Your place is kept: once the limit renews, or once you pick a plan or add credits, say continue and it picks up where it stopped.
Sending the message needs more capacity than your free keys have right now.
Sending the message could not start. Your free API keys are at their limit. They reopen Oct 12, 7:44 PM.
Wait for your keys to reopen, or pick a plan to keep going now. Retrying will not clear it.
Step 4
Work together in a team
A team's projects draw on the team's plan, so people working together share one allowance instead of each spending their own. Start a team from your projects, then share a project into it.
